PROPOSTA DE APLICAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS DA QUALIDADE PARA MELHORIA CONTÍNUA DE UMA LOJA DE CALÇADOS: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Resumo

O trabalho aborda a gestão de estoque em lojas de calçados na cidade de Botucatu (SP), destacando sua importância para o controle eficiente dos recursos materiais e agregação de valor ao negócio. Apresenta um estudo de caso em uma empresa familiar do setor calçadista, investigando as causas da divergência no estoque dos produtos. Utilizando as ferramentas da qualidade, como o Diagrama de Ishikawa e o método 5W1H, foram identificados problemas como falta de procedimento documentado, treinamento insuficiente, comunicação deficiente entre setores, ausência de inventário e falhas no controle da entrada de produtos. A partir dessas causas, foi elaborado um plano de ação com propostas de melhorias, incluindo a implantação de software de gestão, treinamentos específicos e padronização dos processos. O estudo destaca ainda o papel estratégico da indústria calçadista no Brasil, a importância da qualidade e do controle logístico, e conclui que a aplicação das ferramentas propostas pode aumentar a eficiência operacional e a satisfação dos clientes.

PROPOSAL FOR THE APPLICATION OF QUALITY TOOLS FOR THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF A FOOTWEAR STORE: A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT

This paper aims at the inventory management in footwear stores in Botucatu, São Paulo state, highlighting its importance for efficient control of material resources and for adding value to the business. It is a case study in a family-owned business in the footwear sector, investigating the causes of discrepancies in product inventory. The study used quality management tools, such as Ishikawa Diagram and the 5W1H method, enabling the identification of problems related to the absence of documented procedures, insufficient employee training, poor communication between departments, lack of periodic inventory and failures in controlling product entries. Based on these causes, an action plan was drawn up with improvement proposals, including the implementation of management software, specific training and standardization of internal processes. The study also highlights the strategic role of the footwear industry in Brazil, emphasizing the importance of quality and logistical control for competitiveness of companies within this sector. Results show that the application of the proposed quality tools can significantly increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
